One way to remove the Acer Aspire 5630, 5330, 5230 keyboard is to remove the screws that hold it in place. Once the screws are removed, you can slide the keyboard off of the base. If you have a replacement keyboard, you can attach it to the base by sliding it into place and pressing down on the buttons until they click.
1. Remove the six captive screws securing the lower cover.
2. Remove the two screws (A) securing the keyboard.
3. Carefully pry loose the keyboard and turn it over on the touchpad area.
4. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the main board to remove the keyboard.
